Special Private Guided Birding Tours and Culture Trips

Special Private Guided Birding Culture Adventure Tours
One of our specialties is providing custom and on-demand tours. These tours can be international tours or unique itineraries to destinations within the United States.

Most of our clients are birders or simply nature lovers in general. Often our clients have other interests or travel goals such as visiting all 50 states or following the route of Lewis and Clark or visiting Civil War or Civil Rights sites. Perhaps you want to fill up your park service passport and visit all 63 national parks, or all 429 national park service sites. We can complete an itinerary for you. For tours within the United States and Canada, we usually stay at hotels, but we can also organize a "car-camping" trip and stay at state parks and national park campgrounds, or a combination of both.

Here are a few examples of the itineraries we have completed:

1) We have visited most of the Lewis and Clark Route starting from Monticello to Philadelphia to Harper's Ferry, and sites along the Ohio River. And of course, we have traveled from St. Louis to Astoria and back, (although not by boat....). We have also visited the Meriwether death site along the Natchez Trace in Tennessee.  The Lewis and Clark route is very long, and we have completed it in many separate segments over the years.

2) We have traveled the entire length of the Transcontinental Railroad in two parts. Part one is from Council Bluffs to Promontory Point, Utah. Part two is from Sacramento to Promontory Point.

3) We have traveled through 49 states (yet to cover Hawaii), and many places and provinces in Canada.

4) We have traveled to all the major Civil War sites, and many of the lesser known sites.

5) Perhaps you want to visit all the John Brown sites and get a good understanding of the very early beginnings of the Civil War. This tour also includes significant Abraham Lincoln sites. It is one of our longest road trips, usually a 15-day tour, starting in Kansas City and ending in Lake Placid, New York.

6) Have you traveled through all of the Canadian Maritime provinces? Have you been to the Viking village L'Anse aux Meadows located on Newfoundland? We can make this happen!

7) Or maybe you just want to see as many North American Bird Species as possible.

8) Or maybe, you simply Don't Like Group Tours and want a private tour to either an international destination or a destination within the United States.

We have a tour for you!

Over the years we have been very fortunate to have an excellent photographer on many of our tours. For each tour, he has created a photo album.  Unfortunately, this photographer is not on every tour. Here are the links to the tours he has booked with us and has documented:
