The South-North tour focuses on New Zealand birds and endemics.  This 15-day tour starts in Christchurch and travels to the southern tip of New Zealand, with a 3-day visit to Stewart Island.  There is also a boat cruise through Milford Sound. From Queenstown, we fly to Auckland and travel to the northern parts of the island, including Cape Reinga, birding the entire time.

• Travel Dates: October 8 - 22, 2027
• Group Size: 8 travelers, spots left = 8
• Trip Length: 15 days
• Rates:  $6,120 per person (based on double occupancy), an extra $1,350 for single occupancy.
• Rates include:  Lodging, meals, daily tours, airport transfer, Picton to Wellington ferry, and basic travel insurance.
• Not included: International airfare* for arrival at the Christchurch International Airport (CHC) and departure from the Auckland International Airport (AKL), snacks, alcohol, dessert, and trip cancelation insurance.

• Reservations: To reserve a spot on the trip, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required, and the non-refundable balance is due six months prior to the trip. 

*We recommend purchasing a one-way ticket to Christchurch (CHC) for arrival and a one-way ticket leaving from Auckland International Airport (AKL). United Airlines and Air New Zealand are code share partners.  Please contact us if you have questions about flight tickets.
