About Kaiyote Tours

Hello fellow travelers! Thanks for visiting our website. We are professional guides based in Estes Park, Colorado. We live at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park and we have been taking travelers on guided tours since the year 2000.

Kaiyote is the owner and lead guide of Kaiyote Tours. She has been living in Estes Park and hiking and backpacking in Rocky Mountain National Park since 1993. She has traveled much of the world in search of Birds & Adventure.

Our specialty is International Birding & Adventure trips. We offer nine different international trips a year. We travel to Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, France, Denmark, Sweden, Åland, Norway, Iceland and Japan. Most of our trips last about 3 weeks.

When we are not out exploring the world we are at home and living in the mountains. Here we spend our time birding, wildlife watching, hiking, backpacking and sailing Lake Granby. In the winter, we are skiers, both Alpine and Nordic and we also love to snowshoe. We can guide you on any type of trip you would like, whether it is private or with a group.
